Local NHS Heroes Campaign – How You Can Help!

Here in Long Wittenham, we are gearing up for our NHS donation drive this Sunday 10th May!  Here’s how you can get involved:

1. Donate online by buying items from our Amazon Wishlist.  Simply click on the following link and select “Local NHS Heroes” as the delivery address at checkout.  Items will come straight to us here to go into the packs this weekend: Donate via Amazon Wishlist

2. Donate online whilst also supporting local businesses, by purchasing items from The Big Small Shop.  Simply click on the following link and put “Local NHS Heroes” in the notes section at checkout to receive a refund on your delivery charge (provided all items are for donation) and to ensure that items are delivered straight to us here: Donate via The Big Small Shop

3. Bring personal care items in person to Long Wittenham Village Hall this Sunday 10th May from 10am to 2pm where strict social distancing will be in place.  We will be accepting donations in the form of items such as hand cream, face wipes, lip balms, shaving foam and disposable razors, moisturiser and deodorant, laundry tablets, tea and coffee.

4. Arrange a collection.  If you live within 5 miles of Long Wittenham, we can arrange a doorstep collection of your donations on Sunday 10th May – please contact localnhsheroes@gmail.com to arrange.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our many sponsors including Waitrose Wallingford, The Big Small Shop, Smurfit Kappa, Rajapack, Albry Print and Vinyl Banners Printing, as well as all of you who have chosen to donate!

This VE Day together let’s choose to Remember our WW2 heroes by Supporting Today’s.  Thank you NHS!
