May Local Elections

South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) needs volunteers to take on paid work at the local elections on 6th May.  All residents in Oxfordshire will be voting for the Police & Crime Commissioner and county councillors, and some areas may have a by-election or a Neighbourhood Plan referendum.

There are many roles available.  Plans are being put in place to ensure all staff can work in a Covid-19 safe environment.  Electoral organisers expect a big increase in postal votes.

The various counts will take place over the following days.  To help ensure smooth running, the council needs to recruit as many people as possible.  Anyone interested in helping at the elections can find more information on the SODC website.
