HIF1 Infrastructure Project Approved

Oxfordshire County Council’s cabinet has given the go-ahead for the next phase of the HIF1 Didcot and surrounding areas major infrastructure project with a revised deal with Government.  The project includes the new Didcot to Culham river crossing.

Approval at the county council’s cabinet meeting on 21st June follows its agreement in February to allocate additional funding to the project as part of its budget setting process.  This funding will be combined with further investment from Homes Continue reading

Neighbourhood Plan Referendum

The Referendum for the revised Neighbourhood Development Plan will take place on Thursday 28th July 2022.  Voters can vote at the polling station (Village Hall), by post or by proxy.

Litter Mapping Project

South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse district councils have launched a joint litter mapping project aimed at identifying where and what type of items are littered; this information will then be used to target those areas.

Covid Vaccinations – 5-11 Year Olds

NHS Oxfordshire has asked the Parish Council to share the following information with residents.

All children aged five to eleven continue to be offered vaccination against Covid-19, and this is a good time to get your child vaccinated in time for the Summer when cases might increase.

Women’s Cycling Tour

Residents may wish to note that the 2022 Women’s Cycling Tour comes to Oxfordshire on Saturday (11th June).
