At the recent meeting to discuss the latest plans for the Community Hub, it was announced that further meetings would be held to discuss some specific topics related to this. These meetings are part of the Parish Council’s and Thomas Homes’ ongoing commitment to consult with residents at every stage of the Neighbourhood Plan and Planning Application process.

The Pendon Museum has a new manager. She is Emma Midgley who says she is delighted to be working with “such a dedicated and talented team”.
Prior to joining Pendon, Emma was the Director of the Rural Life Living Museum at Farnham in Surrey, an open-air museum based on the history of agriculture and rural life from 1750 to 1960. She held the post for five years. Continue reading

Residents who are struggling to buy quality, healthy food are to receive further support from Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) and food advocacy organisation Good Food Oxfordshire (GFO).
The two organisations have teamed up with partners at Oxford City Council, and the county’s district councils, to expand the developing networks of community food providers in local areas.
People can find a food service near them by using the Oxfordshire Community Food Services Map.
OCC is encouraging charities, and other organisations supporting the community with food poverty, to register with GFO by emailing mail@goodfoodoxford.org.
