Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) has asked the Parish Council to let residents know about its Warm Homes Local Grant.
OCC is dedicated to helping Oxfordshire households on a low income improve the energy efficiency of their homes, lower their bills, and reduce their carbon footprint.

Residents may be aware that Thames Water has announced that it is imposing a hosepipe ban (also known as a Temporary Usage Ban) from Tuesday 22nd July.
It will affect users who live in the following postcodes: OX, GL, SN, RG4, RG8 and RG9.
A fine of up to £1,000 can be imposed on those who breach the rules. Continue reading

The Parish Council has been advised by South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) of a new planning application within the village.
The application, at building east of Hamilton, Northfield Lane, Long Wittenham, is for the re-use of existing barn as dwelling with garden and parking area and associated works.
