Long Wittenham Fun Run Sunday 15th May 2016 – Helpers Needed

If you don’t plan to run or walk the 5km course, and are not already signed up to help with this popular village event, please consider sparing some time to get involved!

We are looking for helpers – particularly for:-

  • marshalling (thanks to those who have already volunteered)
  • first aiders
  • the entries/results desk
  • photography (start/finish and awards and any other nice shots at The Plough!)

You don’t have to have any specific skills for marshalling.  You will be required to wear a jolly yellow jacket and stand on the course directing the runners/walkers along the route. You will need to report for duty at 10am at The Plough when you will be given full instructions and your vest.  You should be back at The Plough by 12pm at the latest.

If you have helped in the past and are happy to help again please let me know whether you’d like to have the same job or something new.

If you have never helped before please do consider it!

PLEASE DON’T TURN UP ON THE DAY OFFERING TO HELP – we need to allocate jobs in advance!

If you can help, please contact Prew Bowtell on 01865 407261

Event details and entry form here.
