The Parish Council (PC) has just installed two new flashing Speed Indicator Devices (SIDs) in the village.
Last year Thames Valley Police offered grants for road safety improvements and the PC was successful in its bid to buy these signs. The SIDs have cost about £5,800 and the grant was £5,700.

Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) has advised the Parish Council of a temporary emergency road closure on Fieldside whilst short service pipe relay repair works are carried out for public safety reasons.
The temporary closure and will operate from 20th February 2026, 24 hours daily, and the anticipated completion date is 24th February 2026.
