A group of three people in Didcot will melt down the candles and make lights for the soldiers in the trenches. The items are taken to Swindon where there is a large group organising delivery to Ukraine. Continue reading
Wild Oxfordshire has plans to complete the hedge that was planted alongside the permissive path on the road to Clifton Hampden.
They are looking for volunteers to help with the planting. The first planting day is on Saturday 7th February from 10am to 2pm when 130m of hedge will be planted. Continue reading

The Keep Britain Tidy campaign has asked the Parish Council to promote Buy Nothing New Month.
The month-long campaign is all about protecting the planet by reducing waste, and at a time when many are worried about the rising cost of living, it’s also about saving money.
People are encouraged to cherish the stuff they already have, repair things rather thanthrowing them away, and find ways to re-home items that are no longer needed.
