The Sue Ryder charity is encouraging local residents in the Thames Valley area to recycle their real trees through its Christmas Treecycling service. In return for a donation, it will collect real Christmas trees for recycling, to raise vital funds for the charity. Continue reading
South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils have agreed a revised timetable for the creation of their Joint Local Plan.
Both authorities are working to create a Joint Local Plan, which will seek to deliver the councils’ ambitions for zero-carbon, sustainable development and genuinely affordable homes in the districts up to the year 2041.

The application, at Mouldens, High Street, Long Wittenham, is for the use of annex for shorter term lettings.

Brown bin collections (garden waste) will be suspended while crews concentrate on collecting the extra waste from Christmas.
