Now that the Thames Water hosepipe ban has come into force, residents may be interested to know that the Environment Agency produces a monthly local report on rainfall, soil moisture deficit, river flows, groundwater levels and reservoir levels for the Thames area.

Thames Travel has announced that it will be reintroducing a Monday to Friday, peak-time bus service between Didcot and Culham Science Centre, starting on 5th September

Thames Water has announced that it is imposing a hosepipe ban (also known as a Temporary Use Ban) on everyone to whom it supplies water from Wednesday 24th August.
A fine of up to £1,000 can be imposed on those who breach the rules.
