Parish Council – Thursday 18th June 7:30pm

Steve Brown, Acting Chair of the Parish Council (PC) writes …

Dear Villagers, what are you doing on Thursday evening?

Would you like to know what is happening with the Hub Development?

Are you interested in the latest on felling trees in Wards Field Copse?

Do you have ideas for how the PC could improve the village?  We need new projects.

Are you concerned about the look and appearance of the village?

Would you like to know about HIF1 and traffic?

Why not come along and find out on Thursday evening at 7:30 in the Village Hall.

How about getting the massive pot hole filled and asking when the rd is going to be resurfaced!!

    • Liz Yuille says:

      Hi Donna
Thank you for raising these issues.

As you probably know, pot holes and the road/pavement surfaces are the responsibility of Oxford County Council Highways Department. However, the state of our roads is a topic the Parish Council raises with our County Councillor frequently. As luck would have it, and by pure coincidence, if the ‘massive pot hole’ is the one in the 40mph area of the road between Clifton Hampden and Long Wittenham, it was filled today. If it is a different pot hole you are referring to, then please report it on Fix My Street so OCC Highways can add it to their work schedule.

Thank you again for being proactive on this.

      Liz
