The Parish Council has two vacancies. Currently, there are five councillors, two short of the recommended number. Could you provide a voice for people living in the village?
The parish council is involved in many key areas of local administration: representing residents, delivering services to meet local needs and improving quality of life and community well being.
A full strength council will be better placed to tackle these challenges, so please consider ‘doing your bit’ to help to shape the future of the village.
To be eligible as a parish councillor you must be:
- Over 18 years of age;
- Registered to vote or have lived, worked, or owned property in Long Wittenham for at least 12 months;
- A British citizen or an eligible Commonwealth citizen.
For more information speak to any of the councillors (see the link below) or contact the parish clerk at clerk@longwittenham.com / 01865 407110.
