Parish Councillor Resignation

Parish Councillor David Corney has decided to step down from the council.

Cllr Corney joined the council in July 2022 having previously been the village’s footpath warden.  He set up the current Community Speedwatch team in January 2023 and it has been very effective in monitoring speeding in the village and warning rogue drivers.

Most recently, he played a major role in getting the permissive path between the village and Clifton Hampden opened.

The council thanks him for his contribution.  His skills and enthusiasm will be missed.

It would be lovely to see a young person or persons step into the vacancy.
As a resident I thank David Corney for the time he has given to the service of the village an often thankless task but rewarding if you have the time.
    Thank you
