Pendon Museum News

Pendon Museum will be taking part in Heritage Open Days for two days this month.

Heritage Open Days is an organisation that provides local communities a chance to engage with their local heritage, and as such there will be no entry fee for visiting the museum on Saturday 7th and Wednesday 11th September.  On these days, the museum will be open at the usual time of 11am (with last entry at 3.15pm) and will be fully open as usual.

Find out more about Heritage Open Days, and what other local events will also be running, at www.heritageopendays.org.uk.

The pop-up café in the museum tea room will be open on the morning of Wednesday 11th from 10am, but the wider museum will not be fully open until 11am.  Anyone attending the café is welcome to stay on and view the museum for free when it opens.

The pop-up café is a free drop-in event, with just a small charge for drinks and cake to cover the costs.  All donations from the cakes go to support a local group, so please go along and support it if you can.  The café is friendly to dog walkers, but they will need to have their refreshment outside with their dog(s).
