The Parish Council has been advised by South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) of a new planning application within the village.
The application, at The Little House, High Street, Long Wittenham, is for the demolition of the existing barn and erection of a new barn in the same field.

Looks like a good idea to me, tatty old barn replaced with a new attractive building in keeping with the rural area.
Let’s hope the thatched barn on Fieldside that’s in danger of falling down due to neglect receives some TLC before we lose a piece of village history.
