Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) has asked the Parish Council to promote its Small Business Sustainability Workshop.
This informative workshop on sustainability, tailored for micro and small businesses, will take place at the Business And Intellectual Property Centre Oxfordshire (BIPC) on Wednesday 30th April.
It is an in-person workshop with interactive activities, learning opportunities and time to begin carbon reduction plans with support from the facilitators.
Topics covered will include, climate change mitigation and adaptation, greenhouse gas emissions, biodiversity, circular economy, and social value. Participants will walk away knowing how to calculate their business’s carbon footprint and with a basic carbon reduction plan. These will help ensure that businesses are well-equipped to decrease emissions in line with (or ahead of) the UK Government’s Net Zero target.
