The Parish Council has been complaining to South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) about the damaged road sign at the junction of Saxons Heath and Westfield Road for several weeks.
SODC eventually instructed its contractor on 30th January and said that it might take up to eight weeks for the repairs to be completed.
The council has just been advised by SODC that it now has a timescale from its contractor. It has not given a fixed date but says that it should be within the next week to ten days.
