There is now a new outdoor table tennis table at Acklings Playground.
It’s near a picnic table so families can easily watch the fun and it’s in the shelter of the trees to keep the wind from playing havoc with your game.
The Parish Council, together with help from our County Councillor Johnny Hope-Smith, purchased it from Table Tennis England who call it their “Gold Standard” outdoor table.
Table Tennis England also provided some bats and balls as part of the deal. There are only a few sets so if you would like a free pair of bats and ten balls, email your name and address to clerk@longwittenham-pc.gov.uk. They will go fast so it will be first come first served for village families.

This is a fantastic new addition to finish off the new playground and equipment the Parish Council built last year.
It is just in time for families to enjoy over the summer holidays.
