Wittenham WI will be hosting a talk on the artist Eric Ravilious on Saturday 16th March starting at 3pm in the Village Hall, with specialist speaker Lizzy Rowe.
Eric was a painter, designer, illustrator and wood-engraver, but his work nearly fell into obscurity after his mysteriously tragic death whilst serving as a war artist in 1942.
The talk will reveal more about his many talents. See the flyer below.
Guest Tickets are £5, which includes tea and cakes. There will also be a raffle.
Tickets are payable in advance on a first come, first served basis, as numbers are limited. Cheques should be made payable to Wittenham WI.
