Thames Road Bridge Project Approved

Residents will be interested to know that, according to the BBC, the HIF1 (Housing Infrastructure Fund) project has been given the go-ahead by the Government.

This follows a planning enquiry earlier this year after Oxfordshire County Council’s planning committee rejected the planning application.

The project includes a new road bridge across the Thames which it is hoped will reduce the traffic through Long Wittenham and local villages.

    Fantastic news for us fellow villagers. This road should have been built when Ladygrove was started over 30 years ago. Brilliant.
