Tree work at Ward’s Field will begin next week, 5th October, to remove the dead and potentially dangerous trees along the western edge of Ward’s Field.
This means that access through the wood will be disrupted until the work is finished, probably in two to three weeks. Please respect all the signs and barriers which will be in place to keep you safe.
Most of the timber will be removed off site requiring some heavy equipment moving through the village. We will be re-planting with new trees as soon as possible.
