Tub2Pub Collection

Tub2Pub is Greene King’s plastics recycling campaign to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The aim is to collect clean, empty, plastic cracker, chocolate and biscuit containers (tubs) so they can then be sold onto companies who shred them and use them to make things like play equipment rather than buying new plastic.  Greene King then donates 100% of the proceeds from the sale to MacMillan Cancer Support.

Resident June Eastwood is happy to coordinate this scheme for the village.  Anyone who would like to take part can drop their empty plastic cracker, chocolate and biscuit containers into a crate outside the garage of number 44 Westfield Road, and June will ensure that all containers are taken to Greene King.

There is more information about the scheme on the Tub2Pub website.  June can be contacted at j_m_eastwood@hotmail.co.uk.
