Catherine Harrison writes …
As some of you may be aware there is now a new Village Hall Committee made up of Catherine Harrison, Mo Jackson, Sarah Burke, Hannah Fraser-Mackenzie, Sarah Murdoch and Tory Edwards.
We are taking over the running and maintenance of the hall from Nick Caw and would like to thank him for looking after it for the last five years.
The hall will continue to be booked in the same way so if you would like to book it please email bookings@lwvillagehall.uk.

Deep Clean
This last weekend, with the help of lots of village volunteers, we undertook a deep clean of the hall and whilst there is still quite a bit more to do, we made a really good start. Thank you so much to all our cheery volunteers who made the whole task much easier!
We will have another deep clean to finish off the last bits over the next month or two – please do volunteer when you see the email if you can.
We also have new regular cleaners starting this week.
Repair and Maintenance
Given that the new Community Hub is some way off still, we are also going to undertake some much needed maintenance, repair and painting over the next six months or so to ensure that the hall is fit for purpose in the medium term. Please bear with us whilst we prioritise and action this as we have a long list which we will slowly work our way through, starting with the more urgent items.

Congratulations to the crew who took this on A village Hall is so important for the Community . So great to see some new faces getting involved we have a village to be proud of .Sorry not to be able to help physically due to disabilities but always prepared to stump up when fund raising required
