About seventy people and children from the Primary School assembled at the village war memorial yesterday morning (11th November) for the annual Remembrance Day commemoration.
The service was led by the Rev David Haylett. Wreaths were laid on behalf of the Parish Council, Long Wittenham Athletic Club, the WI and the Brownies.
Children from the school read biographies of some of the Long Wittenham fallen and laid crosses for all those listed on the memorial.
