It’s National Volunteers’ Week and Age UK Oxfordshire is looking for people who would like to support the organisation.
Whether it’s offering companionship to older people as befrienders, working with the Dementia Oxfordshire service to provide essential care and support for those living with dementia, assisting with its physical activity groups, creative sessions, and activity classes, or sitting on our Trustee board, guiding the strategy, finances and governance.
Volunteering doesn’t just make a real difference to the lives of others, it can have a positive impact on you, too. It’s a chance to give back to your local community, meet new people, share your knowledge, and learn new skills along the way.
So, if you have some spare time and would like to support Age UK Oxfordshire, please explore the roles available on its website. However much time you can give, you’ll be helping to improve the lives of older people across Oxfordshire.
