South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) has asked the Parish Council to advise residents that its bin crews are out as usual this week in South Oxfordshire but there may be some delays to waste and recycling collections due to the flooding, as well as ongoing staff shortages.
Residents should continue to put their bins out as normal and they will be collected as soon as possible, where it is safe to do so.

Update from SODC 25/9/24
Our crews are continuing to catch up on the waste and recycling collections which have been delayed due to the flooding.
We’re still experiencing delays with collections in some areas, particularly where flooding remains an issue, so we’re asking residents to please continue to leave their bins out and our crews will aim to return to them as soon as possible, where it is safe to do so.
If someone’s bins haven’t been emptied after three days they should contact 03000 610 610.
