Beat The Heat

Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) has asked The Parish Council to pass on this message to residents:

Stay safe in the heat this summer.  Due to climate change, temperatures are increasing in Oxfordshire and elsewhere with more dry, hot weather and heatwaves expected.

See the flyer below for some top tips about how you or someone you care for can keep safe this Summer.

One Response to Beat The Heat

  1. Robert Calcutt says:

I am not a climate change denier, but the summer of 1976 recorded a max temperature of 35.9 centigrade – nearly 2 degrees hotter than today, and that was only the 13th hottest day in history. Perhaps some perspective is required when using the term “climate change”?

    Stay sensible, stay cool.
