As part of the Sylva Foundation’s House of Wessex project, Anglo-Saxon open days are planned for the first weekend of July at the Sylva Wood Centre.
Visitors can watch the House of Wessex being constructed, have a go at Anglo-Saxon thatching, play traditional games, and see other traditional crafts on display.
The open days run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July with free parking, and free entry.
