May Local Elections

Local elections will take place on Thursday 6th May.  All residents in Oxfordshire will be voting for the Police & Crime Commissioner and county councillors, and some areas may have a by-election or a Neighbourhood Plan referendum.

In Long Wittenham we have two elections.  For the Police & Crime Commissioner for the Thames Valley Police there are four candidates: Matthew David Barber (Conservative), Laetisia Carter (Labour and Co-operative Party), John Orrell Howson (Liberal Democrats) and Alan Gordon Robinson (Independent).

For the  County Councillor for the Wallingford division there are three candidates: the incumbent, Pete Sudbury (Green Party), George Douglas Ryall (Labour) and Lee Mark Upcraft (Conservative).

The deadline for voter registration is Monday 19th April and Tuesday 20th April for a postal vote.
