New Clerk/RFO for the Parish Council

It’s all change in the administration of the Parish Council as Clerk Martin Elliff and RFO (Responsible Financial Officer) Clifford Bosley step down from their posts on 31st March.

Martin has been the clerk for the last six years and was a councillor for four years before that.  Clifford has been managing the council’s finances since 2011.

These two, hitherto separate, roles will now be taken by Liz Cruse who will become the council’s Clerk/RFO from 1st April.  Liz, who lives in Milton was the Clerk/RFO for Milton Parish Council for the last six years and brings a wealth of experience to her new role.  She also recently became the assistant clerk for Sutton Courtenay Parish Council.

At the last Parish Council meeting on 19th March, Chairman Liz Yuille thanked Martin and Clifford for their service.

We wish Liz Cruse well in her new role.

Liz Cruse

One Response to New Clerk/RFO for the Parish Council

  1. Stephen Brown says:

The whole village owes an enormous debt of gratitude to both Clifford and Martin for the extended time they have helped look after the village.
I personally will miss their knowledge and support when working on Parish matters.
We should also welcome Liz to her new role. She brings experience from elsewhere which will be great to have.
