The Keep Britain Tidy campaign has asked the Parish Council to promote Buy Nothing New Month.
The month-long campaign is all about protecting the planet by reducing waste, and at a time when many are worried about the rising cost of living, it’s also about saving money.
People are encouraged to cherish the stuff they already have, repair things rather thanthrowing them away, and find ways to re-home items that are no longer needed.

Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) is introducing a new booking system at its Household Waste Recycling Centres to make visits quicker and easier.
