The Parish Council has renewed the lease with St John’s College, Oxford for the Acklings play area at the west end of the village. The new eight-year lease runs until 2029.
According to records in the Parish Council archive, the field was first leased from St John’s College in 1987.
The village Pre-School uses a section of the field for its ‘Forest School’.
The Parish Council has been asked to promote the Riverside Counselling Service, a charity which is supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of adults and young people across South Oxfordshire.
