The Parish Council is re-tendering two contracts for the maintenance and general upkeep of the open spaces and churchyard within the village, including grass cutting and hedge trimming on verges, sports and play areas, and also maintenance and minor repairs of fences and outdoor furniture.
South Oxfordshire District Council is working with Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) on a project to install electric vehicle charging points in a range of public car parks in 2021. As part of that work, the county council has launched a survey gathering data on residents’ opinions on electric vehicles.
The Parish Council has been advised by the Traffic Regulations Team at Oxfordshire County Council that a request has been received from the Environmental Agency for a temporary footpath closure to apply to a section of Thames Path at Day’s Lock whilst essential repair and refurbishment works on the lock gates are carried out.
