Survey on an Increase in Council Tax to Help Protect Operational Policing

Christmas Waste And Recycling Collections

Residents are reminded that waste and recycling collections will change over the Christmas and New Year period.

Brown bin collections (garden waste) will be suspended while crews concentrate on collecting the extra waste from Christmas.  Garden waste customers will receive an extra collection in the spring to make up for this. Continue reading

Sewers Under Strain

Future housing developments in Long Wittenham must take into account the village’s sewage system, says the Parish Council.

Parish Precept

The Parish Council has agreed to seek a 3% increase in its precept for the new financial year starting in April 2019.  The precept is the amount of the council tax that is paid to the Parish Council to fund the services it provides.
