The Parochial Church Council (PCC) for Long with Little Wittenham churches writes …

Recently, safety signs have been put up along the unofficial footpath under the trees in Ward’s Field to help protect everyone who uses it until work is done.  There are some trees at risk of falling down.  These signs are there for good reason; they help to prevent accidents and keep people safe. Community Hub Update

The Parish Council’s agent and partner developer, Thomas Homes, submitted full plans for the Community Hub development of forty-five new homes, a new village hall and importantly, a new primary school in 2023 and were given delegated approval of the plans in early 2024.

Harvest Celebration

Come along to St Mary’s Church on Sunday 5th October at 3pm to celebrate harvest.

OxRAIL 2040: Plan for Rail

Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) has asked the Parish Council to let residents know about OxRAIL 2040: Plan for Rail, its plan to improve rail transport across the county over the next fifteen years.
