There is a vacancy for a village FixMyStreet Super User to enable faster fixing of potholes, damaged kerbing and drains.
Fix My Street allows residents to report problems on the roads. Anything added to Fix My Street results in a council highways inspector visiting the site and assessing each problem to see if a repair is needed according to set criteria. Now that the Thames Water hosepipe ban has come into force, residents may be interested to know that the Environment Agency produces a monthly local report on rainfall, soil moisture deficit, river flows, groundwater levels and reservoir levels for the Thames area.
