Earth Trust has three special themed Little Acorn events planned for the summer holidays, all set in beautiful gardens, connecting with nature through Summer time craft activities and a spot of gardening.
Go along and harvest vegetables from the kitchen garden and enjoy mud kitchen and water play areas. There will be crafts, as well as all the usual outdoor activities to explore including the mud kitchen and water play.
The first event is the Teddy Bears’ Picnic:
Take a favourite teddy bear to join in the fun as you build a shelter, make a mud pie and enjoy some summertime herbal drinks. At the end of the session everyone will get together for a special story for all the teddies and children with an elderflower lollipop made from elderflower trees.
It will take place on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th July from 10am to 11.30am at Earth Lab, Earth Trust Centre, Little Wittenham, and is suitable for children aged two to five years. Tickets are £10 per child (+booking fees).
For tickets and more information about this event see the Earth Trust website.
