Village Litter Pick & Swapshop

Would you like your village to be a clean and tidier place?  Do you have items you no longer need that are clean and reusable?  Are there items that you would find useful to have?  Then come along to the Village Autumn Litter Pick and Swapshop on Saturday 6th October at the Village Hall from 10am till noon.  Residents are also urged to bring along any unwanted socks for the homeless (see below).

Litter Pick: Come along to the village hall where you will be provided with Hi Viz jackets, gloves, rubbish bags and litter picking tools.

Choose an area of the village that you would like to “litter pick”.  The rubbish is then returned to the village hall and you will be rewarded with tea and cake plus the pleasure of knowing you have had a part in keeping our village beautiful.  Children are welcome to join in if accompanied by an adult.
