It’s less than a couple of weeks until the Village Bonfire Night on Saturday 2nd November and now is the time to sort out any wood that can be used to build the bonfire.
Ben Osmond is in charge of the team collecting the wood, so if you do have any (without nails) contact him at benosmond@hotmail.com or call 07799 898506 to arrange collection. Please note that it is not possible to take wood to the site without prior instruction.
Entry wristbands for the event are still on sale from the Long Wittenham School Office or Clifton Hampden Post Office. Prices are £6 for adults, £3 for children (U4s free) and £16 for a family bundle (2 adults, 2 children).
