This year’s Village Bonfire Night will take place on Saturday 3rd November and the bonfire will be built on that morning so it’s time to start saving your wood and newspapers.
If you have wood or old newspapers that can go on the bonfire you can either bring them to Ward’s Field (behind Pendon Museum) on the morning of Saturday 3rd November from 9.30am or arrange a collection, which will also take place on the same morning. Only dry wood only and newspapers in plastic bags are wanted; no garden waste, hedge or tree clippings and no foam or upholstered furniture.
In the interest of public safety please do not leave any donations for the bonfire in Ward’s Field until Saturday 3rd November.
