Another consultation on the quarry at Clifton Hampden has been issued. This latest round covers information from Hills Quarry Products to clarify inconsistencies in their last submission of information.
According to Bachport (Burcot & Clifton Hampden for the Protection of the River Thames), the group leading the opposition to the quarry, there are no material changes proposed to the application and there is no need for any response to this consultation.
They say that little in this application has actually changed from the previous, and none of the proposed changes adequately address the grounds for refusing the last application.
The next possible planning committee dates for this to be considered are Monday 15th July or Monday 9th September.
