The Parish Council has been ask to publicize a campaign by Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) with the support of District Councils to help residents to stay independent, safe and well in their homes.
Housing can affect your physical and mental health, especially if you can’t find the help you need. After speaking with numerous services, OCC has identified and developed a much easier way to get in touch. A single point of contact has been created, where residents (or carers) can make a referral to the most appropriate organisation based on postcodes, to get the help needed.
The type of help that can be provided are services such as new boilers, repairs to boilers, loft or cavity wall insulation, access to a local and trustworthy repairs service and general advice on how to stay safe, well and affordably warm in your home.
