Wittenham Lunch Club & Wittenham W.I. invite all villagers to join them on a trip to London on Thursday 30th November 2017 to include: Christmas shopping at the Greenwich covered Christmas Market; a visit to the Royal Greenwich Museum (Queens House/National Maritime Museum are free entry); a late afternoon Christmas Boat Cruise to Westminster via Canary Wharf & lights of the City (centrally heated boat + indoor seats with Blue Badge Guide); and a coach tour of Christmas London at night, finishing for refreshments in Covent Garden.
The coach leaves the Village Hall at 9.30am and leaves London at 7.30pm. There will be time for lunch in Greenwich.
To book: payment of £32 to Jane May by 29th September (cheques to J D May) – you are welcome to date your cheque 29th September.
A minimum of 40 people are needed to make this trip viable, and this will be judged at the end of September on paid up numbers. Otherwise your cheque is returned.
If the event goes ahead, your payment is non-refundable, but you may find a replacement if you are not able to come.
