Mobile Library to cease in September

It has been announced that the mobile library service in Oxfordshire will cease to operate in September 2016.  This decision was taken following extensive public consultation on proposals to make huge financial savings across all county council services.

The last round of visits will begin on Monday 5 September 2016. The final day of the service will be Friday 16 September 2016.

Users of this service who cannot get to the libraries in Wallingford or Didcot can use the Home Library Service which will bring books to them.  Details of how to register for this service can be found here.

Please note that the Oxfordshire County Council Library Service also offers many online alternatives such as eBooks, eAudio books, eNewspapers and eMagazines.  Details here.
