Oxfordshire Plan 2050 Consultation

The Oxfordshire Plan 2050 is a long-term plan that will set a framework for future planning decisions.

In early 2019, Oxfordshire’s city and district councils undertook an initial consultation called ‘Introducing the Oxfordshire Plan’.  The purpose of that consultation was to ask for residents’ views on what the vision, aspirations, objectives and strategy for the Oxfordshire Plan should be.

Having reflected on your comments and identified a range of different options for the Oxfordshire Plan, they now want to know whether you agree or disagree with them, or if other options should be considered.  Your views are sought on the policies suggested to help Oxfordshire:

  • Address climate change
  • Improve environmental quality
  • Create strong and healthy communities
  • Plan for sustainable travel and connectivity
  • Create jobs and provide homes

The consultation is open until Friday 8th October.
