The Parish Council is re-tendering two contracts for the maintenance and general upkeep of the open spaces and churchyard within the village, including grass cutting and hedge trimming on verges, sports and play areas, and also maintenance and minor repairs of fences and outdoor furniture.
The contracts will commence on 1st April 2021 and run for three years with a possible extension of one year.
Experienced contractors who wish to tender should send brief details to the Clerk (see below) by noon on 1st November 2020. Further details may be requested before choosing a select list.
Contractors need two references for similar work and must have £10m public liability insurance to work on the highway and £5m for the churchyard.
Tenders will be assessed on both price and quality. The Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender.
