Would anyone like to volunteer as a poppy seller for this year’s Poppy Appeal? I’m looking for someone to cover Saxons Heath and another to cover Wessex Way (the new houses off Didcot Road) with a bit of High Street and Fieldside.
The appeal runs between 29th October and 13th November but the job could realistically be done over one or two evenings. Clocks go back this weekend and supermarkets are likely to start selling at the weekend, so the sooner we start the better.
