Followers of this website will be aware that a lorry driver was recently fined for driving a vehicle over 7.5 tonnes through the village. The weight limit applies to the whole of Long and Little Wittenham, except for access.
The Parish Council is keen to ensure that these restrictions are enforced and you can help. Vehicles over 7.5 tonnes are required to have reflective red and yellow 
markers on the back of the vehicle (see right). If you spot such a vehicle in the village, you can report it online. You will need to confirm the registration number, make and model, date, time and location. Any photos you are able to take would be a great help in any prosecution by Oxfordshire County Council (OCC).
