The road from Long Wittenham to Clifton Hampden was closed again on the evening Saturday 1 February due to flooding.
Motorists are urged to respect the road closed signs and not to try and drive through the flood waters. Not only does it exacerbate damage to the road surface but could cause serious problems to your car if water gets into the air intake.
Oxfordshire County Council are constantly reassessing the flood levels and will reopen the road as soon as it is safe to do so.
