Road to Clifton Hampden Roadworks 23rd to 27th March

It has come to the Parish Council’s attention that roadworks are scheduled to take place on the road out of the village towards Clifton Hampden between 23rd and 27th March.

The work will be carried out by Openreach.  There will be two-way traffic signals, so delays are possible.

See the details below from the One.Network website.

Sincerely hope that the road surface will be better after these works have been completed than it is at present.
It seems like a rare week when access in or out of the village is not interrupted.

  2. David Haylett says:

I was intrigued to see, two days after Highways had been round emptying buckets of tarmac in the marked potholes, another guy from Highways with a bucket of white paint marking all the potholes they had missed! Now, less than a week after the ‘repairs’ it looks as though the trench pothole of the Bridge is crumbling away already!

    Cost effective? Hmmmmm
